Job and Trip
I accepted the job from Target! We are now just waiting on some pre-employment screening, and I will be the newest (and of course most talented, and beautiful, etc.) executive team leader with Target!
As well, tomorrow morning my friends and I leave for Los Angeles where we will be departing for our Spring Break excursion to Ensenada, Mexico on a cruise with Royal Caribbean International. It is going to be both fun and relaxing, especially after this very long and busy few weeks I have had.

Target (the next phase)
As you know, I was invited to a second round of interviews with Target this past Friday. I felt the interviews went quite well, along with two more interviews they also gave me (and the other candidates) a tour of the Target store, and there was a Q&A panel where we could ask any other questions we had about the company.
Of course, the more important thing than me feeling the interviews went well is that the interviewers felt they went well. I found out today that this was also the case. I received a phone call from one of the campus recruiters whom I had been in contact with before, and she extended a job offer to me!
I let her know that I would get back to her with my response by Thursday this week, and as soon as I let her know, I'll post on here with the verdict!

I am now 3/4 of the way through my marketing class with a full blown marketing plan plus a power point presentation due by next week. This is proving to be my toughest assignment yet. I just don't feel like I know what I'm doing or quite how to do it. I'm sure I'll figure it out though. I have one class left this semester and I'm waiting to hear from my advisor regarding the next steps that must be completed. I'm pretty sure I still have 2 1/2 semesters of the degree completion along with a couple of science classes. So far I have continued to maintain my straight A's (4.0 average) in these classes. I guess I made the Dean's List last semester, according to the grades they sent me. It's been a great experience thus far.

A new chocolate bar
I must warn everyone, this is purely speculation, but I think I may have found my new favorite candy bar.http://www.hersheys.com/reeses/products/crispy-crunchy.asp
I have not had the opportunity to try this candy bar yet, as I am not able to eat sweets and desserts for the time being, but in a few weeks I am going to have the opportunity to try one of these.
Currently, my favorite candy bar is called the Crispy Crunch and it is made by Cadbury (formerly made by Nielsen) and it is only available in Canada. From my research of this new Reese's Crispy Crunchy bar, it seems like it is quite similar to my Crispy Crunch bars, with the candied peanut butter surrounded in delicious chocolate. However, this Reese's bar has extra Reese's peanut butter and some real peanuts on top.
I am so excited to try it!

I just got a phone call from Target, and they told me that the people who interviewed me yesterday were very impressed with my interviews. I have been called back for a second and final round of interviews, after which, if I do well, I could potentially be offered a job with Target.
This second round of interviews is on Friday morning, and is actually interviews with the district leaders for Target.

I'm almost done college
Well, I know I am almost done college when I start looking for a job/career.
This coming Tuesday I have an interview with Target. The job position is Executive Team Leader, and would be an assistant manager/department manager. It's exciting, but a little scary at the same time. Not sure if I will work for target, but that is one of the places I will be applying.

Sad Days Ahead
Not only did Doug, Gisela, Elisabeth and Rebecca leave for their cruise on Saturday, now I have to take Lloyd to the airport at 5:15 am tomorrow to send him back to Washington. Actually, it's not so bad, there's only just over 2 months till we'll be together again and we won't have to be apart for these long stretches - except of course when he has to travel with his work. It's been wonderful to have a house full again, but alas, it is not meant to last forever...soon I'll be spending quiet evenings at home doing my homework!

There's a buzz of excitement in Hanford. Doug, Gisela, Elisabeth & Rebecca are arriving in San Francisco tomorrow. I will be going to San Francisco to meet them (via Amtrak) and we will be touring around SF for the weekend. Sunday we will arrive back in Hanford where we will get to spend the week with them! We always have such a great time when we're together. I am really looking forward to spending time with family! I'm planning to take them on the Blossom Trail through parts of Fresno County as the trees are in full bloom! Plus, the temperatures will be in the mid 70's next week (slightly above average). A very special treat, considering the girls had no school today because of an ice/snow storm in the Kitchener, ON area.
