Long break and short trips
Some of you may know that I only have classes on Tuesdays and Thursdays this semester. It's pretty nice because I have four day weekends. Well over the next few weeks this schedule is going to come in very handy. Spring break is from the 21-25 of March, and Cesar Chavez day is the 31st of March. What this means is during an almost 3 week period I will have only 1 day of class. It is quite amazing really.
With all this free time, I am taking a number of short trips. This coming Thursday, March 17, (St. Patrick's Day) I am heading off to San Francisco for the day. My University is building a brand new Student Recreation Center, and one of the committees I am on for it is deciding what fitness equipment to buy. LifeFitness is actually paying for my committee to take a trip up to San Francisco to go to the IHRSA convention (International Health & Racquet Sport Association). It will be really fun because we can try out all the fitness equipment.
Then on Cesar Chavez day I am going to Los Angeles with a bunch of friends to again try my luck at the Price is Right. Stay posted to find out when to watch the show to see me!
