Basketball
I am the captain of an intramural basketball team here at school. We finished the season with 2 wins and 2 losses. We won our first playoff game which was last week, which meant that this week we would play in the championship game.
Our game was scheduled for 5:30 this evening. We played our hearts out, but lost to the reigning champions (who have won the past few years). The score was 34-69. We are in a co-ed league.
The team I was/am on was the Associated Students team, and since I am the Senator of Recreational and Athletic Affairs, it is my job to organize the Associated Students team. This was apparently the first year the Associated Students team made it to the championship game in all the years they have had a basketball team.
