Welcome to the MoritzOnline.net blog!

Be sure to check back regularly.
Well, it is the fall again, and school is about to start (it seems like that happens at least once a year). I am super involved in a lot of different things this year, again, and that means that I have a bunch of stuff to do even before I sit in my first class of the semester.
My three main positions this year are President of the Craig Business Scholars, President of the Central Valley Veritas club, and Vice-President of the Council of President's Scholars. This week has been quite busy with the latter position. There are 50 new freshmen who have gotten the Smittcamp Scholarship, and as the Vice-President of the student government for that group, we have been doing a lot of welcome activities for the scholars. (If you don't know, the large scholarship I got was the Smittcamp Scholarship). Tuesday I was able to move into my new dorm two days earlier than normal. I then attended the welcome dinner for the new freshmen at the President of the University's house, and then was a part of the Q&A we put on for the freshmen. On Wednesday, I gave a tour of the university to a group of the freshmen, and then we had a pizza and bowling activity scheduled (at no cost of course).
Thursday is when everyone else (including most of my roommates) move into the dorm with me. I also have a luncheon to attend with all of the newest faculty of the University. (They needed some students to eat with this group to introduce them to the student body). Plus, on Sunday, I get to MC the welcome dinner for the Craig Business Scholars, which will also be held at the President's house. My parents get to attend this one every year, lucky them.
School starts on Monday. I am really looking forward to it. I finally get to take some marketing classes, which is very exciting because it is my major.
Hope you are all having a wonderful week.
