New Car
We finally had enough with all of our car problems! Both of Jonathan's vehicles are currently out of commission (including the Merkur he bought two weeks ago). But yesterday was the last straw - our Ford Windstar van had the transmission blow for the second time in just over three years.
So, it was time to re-evaluate our vehicle situation. And, in unusual fashion we did some shopping around and within 24 hours we purchased a brand new car, a 2005 Hyundai Sonata, virtually fully loaded. We got an excellent deal, and were highly impressed with the warranty: 5 years bumper-to-bumper including roadside assistance, and 10 years drivetrain. We also decided that now that the boys are older we no longer need a minivan, since we rarely all travel together anymore, and Luke and Jonathan have their own cars.
Now we have SIX vehicles in our family. Anyone want to buy a minivan?
