Thursday was Thanksgiving in the U.S. Except for Jonathan (who got to work at triple pay) it was a day off to relax, play games, and begin Christmas baking. This is our fourth Thanksgiving living in the U.S. and we have established our own pattern and tradition. For example, we buck the common tradition of eating turkey, since we will be gettting tons of it over the coming weeks and we recently celebrated Canadian Thanksgiving. For food, we have been having a fondue meal. This year it was a bavarian-style recipe with battered mushrooms, and rolled up ham, cheese and sage. Very good! (

Apart from the Thanksgiving activities, we truly have much to be thankful for. And, days like this remind us of all our blessings.
