I just ate the tastiest, sweetest, juciest orange I've ever had and the best part is I plucked it from the tree in the orange grove last night. Roger & Pat Chamberlain are the church's district coordinator and several pastoral couples had dinner at their house last night. The house where they live is smack dab in the middle of a huge navel orange grove. The owner has given them permission to pick all the oranges they want, so before we left, Lloyd and I grabbed the flashlight and a Wal-Mart shopping bag and walked to the grove to pick oranges. I quickly filled the bag full of delicious large navel oranges until Lloyd told me he didn't think it would hold anymore without ripping. Do I wish you were here- I'd share them with you - they're sooooo good!
