Not a lot going on right now

Well, even though nothing really exciting is happening at the moment, I figured I would still give you all an update on life.

I am planning on going to China over Spring Break to visit my friend Neil. He graduated from Fresno State last year and was a member of the Smittcamp Family Honors College with me. He is teaching English at a University in Jiaozuo this year, and so I am planning on visiting him there. I am hoping to buy my plane tickets this coming week, as well, I need to apply for a Tourist Visa for China. My plan is to leave April 5th and be back in California on April 15th, so the trip will be about 10 days. I am really quite excited about this trip. I will be flying into and out of Beijing, and so I will get to see the Great Wall of China, the Forbidden City, Tianamen Square, as well I will get to see a lot of beautiful countryside and other historical sights.

Our whole family has been watching the Olympics, and while we were quite disappointed that the Canadian Men's Hockey team didn't make it through the quarter finals, the Canadian men pulled off a great win vs. Finland yesterday in curling. (As well, the Canadian Women won the hockey gold against Sweden).

For now, that is pretty much it. I'll keep you updated on anything else that transpires!
