Welcome to the MoritzOnline.net blog!
The place where all five of us will regularly contribute to keep our family and friends informed of happenings in our lives.
Be sure to check back regularly.
Well, in case any of you thought that I haven't been doing enough traveling lately, I've got some good news. I have just found out that I was chosen to attend the
NCHC Conference next month.
This means that I will be getting to travel to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania for 5 days. This is exciting for a number of reasons. First, I get to do some traveling and second, I've never really been to the eastern seaboard of the United States. Other than officially "immigrating" into the US through a border crossing in New York State (not even being in New York City), I've not really been anywhere in the Eastern US. I will hopefully get to see such sights as the
Liberty Bell, and get to try an authentic Philly Cheese Steak. Plus, the cost of this trip is being covered by the Honors College and the University.
If you didn't click on the link above to find out what NCHC is, it is the National Collegiate Honors Councils. This organization is a collection of students from leadership positions in Honors programs in Universities around the country. I will be attending this conference with the director of the Honors College here at Fresno State, as well as two other Honors students.
Another very cool thing about the timing of this trip is that because of this trip, I will be in 3 corners of the United States in a period of 4 days. As you may know, I live in California, which is in the Southwest corner, Pennsylvania is in the Northeast corner, and then we will be up in the Northwest corner in Washington for American Thanksgiving. It will be a lot of traveling, but as always, I am up for it!
