Birthday Celebration
As our family won't all be together on my actual birthday, we celebrated my "Golden Birthday" today as a family. For those who are not aware of what a golden birthday is, it is the birthday that you turn the age that is the same as the date you were born. For me, I am turning 23 on the 23rd of April. I have been looking forward to this birthday more than any other birthday I have had so far.
As a family we went to First Church of God in Fresno, and then went out for lunch at Chili's. I got a really great gift from my parents. They gave me (among other things) Rick Steve's Europe entire collection of DVDs, which is 70 episodes of his show on 11 DVDs, making up about 35 hours of his television shows. It is one of my favorite shows, because he takes you to many exotic locations all around Europe.
If anyone is interested, I am planning on celebrating my birthday with all my friends on Thursday of this week, we will be going to the Fresno Grizzlies baseball game.
