Moritz Life

Well it's been about 3 weeks now that I've officially been living on my own and without my parents. It's been interesting, and I've definitely been surviving. My roommates and I try to cook our dinner meals together whenever possible, which works out to be many evenings. We've gone shopping lots to the grocery store and costco, and our cupboards and fridge/freezer are quite full.

I've also had the opportunity to spend time with my brothers on several occasions. One of the biggest changes has been having to pay bills. Other than flyers/coupons most of my mail has been bills. However, I have received a few things from Aunt Lori (thanks again!).

This past Friday I received my first paycheck, which was really great, although most of it was gone within a couple hours because I bought a new computer! I bought a Dell Desktop with a dual-core processor, 2 GB of RAM, 160GB hard drive, and Windows Vista. I also bought a monitor separately, and it's a 19-inch widescreen LCD monitor.

The job has been going really well. Everyday I am learning more and more. I've even received some very good feedback and great compliments from my superiors. I've had a few early mornings at work, a couple of 6ams, and one 4am. In my training that remains I still have an overnight shift (12am - 8:30am) and a few more 6am & 4am mornings.
