Welcome to the MoritzOnline.net blog!
The place where all five of us will regularly contribute to keep our family and friends informed of happenings in our lives.
Be sure to check back regularly.
I left my apartment for maybe an hour this morning to go to my Target store (for shopping, I had the day off).
This morning I was parked in my favorite (non-reserved) parking spot here at the apartment complex. It is pretty close to our building, and it is a little more pie shaped than a regular parking spot, plus it is right beside a little patch of grass. When parking in this spot I can keep my car all the way over to one side, and have a lot of buffer space between my car and the person who parks next to me.
While I was out this morning, this parking spot was randomly turned into a reserved spot, so I can no longer park there. It is a sad day.
There's not been much on our blog lately. We are working out some technical problems - but more on that later.Kathy and I just returned from our Naturalization (i.e. citizenship) interviews this morning, and it went like a breeze. We passed our English verbal and written tests! And, we successfully answered questions pertaining to U.S. civics and history. Our swearing-in ceremony will be in Yakima sometime in the next month or so!
I know this is a little late coming, but I just found out about it in the last couple of days.
